Gran Canaria Tourist Board, the Federation of Hotel and Tourism Businessmen and women of Las Palmas and other businessmen of the sector joined forces in 2004 to create the Gran Canaria Spa, Wellness & Health.
The purpose of this public and private initiative is to work together towards a joint marketing and promotion of the island Gran Canaria as a nature and wellness destination, under the umbrella of a single organisation created to represent each and every one of the associated centres.
Under one same seal of quiality, we bring together the top centres operating in two main areas: the wellness industry, made up of various spa and thalassotherapy centres integrated into high-class hotel establishments; and the medical industry, made up of highly prestigious groups from the medical and health sector.
The Gran Canaria Spa, Wellness & Health official brand, sponsored by Gran Canaria Tourist Board, carries out the following promotion and marketing activities, among others:
Organising press trips for journalists coming from the main source markets.
Organising fam trips for tour operators and travel agents from the main source markets.
Attending national and international trade fairs both generic and specialized.
